- Your videos, photos, audio and projects stay on your device. We never upload them.
- Reel Studio has no accounts, no ads and no analytics or tracking.
- Some features (effects, music, stickers, caption models) download content from the internet. Those requests can reveal your IP address and search words to the provider.
- Auto captions run on your device.
This policy explains what information Reel Studio (“the app”, “we”, “us”) handles when you use it on iOS or Android. “We” means [DEVELOPER NAME], the developer of the app.
1. Information we do not collect
We do not run a server that receives your content. Specifically, we do not collect, receive or store:
- your videos, photos, audio, voice recordings, captions, drawings or projects;
- your name, email address, phone number or any account details (the app has no sign-up or login);
- your location;
- advertising identifiers, or any data used to track you across other apps or websites.
The app contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDKs.
2. Information stored on your device
To work, the app keeps the following only on your device:
- your projects (timeline, edits, text, settings) and copies or working files of imported media;
- exported videos before you save or share them;
- downloaded effect packages, previews and AI models (cache);
- your preferences, such as language and appearance.
Deleting a project in the app removes it. Uninstalling the app removes everything the app stored. Videos you exported to your photo library are yours and stay there until you delete them.
3. Permissions the app asks for

The app only accesses the media you choose. You can revoke any permission at any time in your device settings; features that need it will stop working.
4. Features that use the internet
Editing works offline. Some features fetch content from third-party services. When you use them, the provider receives your IP address, device and app information sent automatically with any network request, and (where noted) what you searched for. We do not send them your media.

These providers have their own privacy policies, which apply to how they handle that data. Content from the sticker, GIF and music libraries is provided by third parties under its own licences.
5. On-device AI
Auto captions and background removal run entirely on your device after the needed model has been downloaded. Your audio, video and images are not sent anywhere for processing. You can delete downloaded models in the app’s settings.
6. Sharing your videos
When you export, save or share a video, you choose where it goes (for example your photo library or another app). Once you share it, the receiving app or service handles it under its own policy. We are not involved.
7. Children
Reel Studio is a general-audience app and is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). Because we collect no personal information, we hold no children’s data. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will help.
8. Data security
Your content stays in the app’s private storage on your device and is protected by your device’s own security. Network requests to the services above use HTTPS. No method of electronic storage is perfectly secure, so please keep your device updated and protected.
9. Your rights and choices
Since we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete on a server. You control all your data on your device: you can delete projects, clear downloaded models and revoke permissions at any time, or uninstall the app. If your local law gives you rights over data (such as GDPR, UK GDPR or CCPA) and you think we hold data about you, contact us and we will respond. 10. International use
Third-party providers above may process the requests you make in countries other than your own.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change how the app handles data, we will update this page and its “Last updated” date. If a change is significant, we will also tell you in the app.
